In our project work, we organize ourselves into four sub-teams: strategy, R&D and public relations.
The strategy team is busy with strategic planning at Fish’N’Bricks. They think about the direction we want to take in the medium and long term and are organizing the larger steps that are coming up in the next few months. At the moment, one of their main tasks is to find a workshop where we can produce and store our bricks on a larger scale. Moreover, they are also planing the first construction built from our plastic bricks as well as searching for a proper container to ship to Indonesia.
Our R&D team is responsible for all the machines used to produce the bricks as well as material analysis. This includes the plastic shredder, the mold for producing the test bodies and the brick mold. These were developed, built and optimized by the R&D team in collaboration with industry partners. Currently, the focus is on scaling a robust production as well as completing the construction of our extruder.
We are behind all Instagram and LinkedIn posts, crafting presentations and communications with our partners in Indonesia and Germany. Currently, they are busy preparing for our fundraising campaign and several competitions so that we can realize the next steps in the project. In the long run we will focus on fundraising through foundations.
Julika coordinates the three subgroups, keeps the overview and makes important decisions regarding project development. Thus, she is the first contact persons for questions about the project, its organization and ensures that the milestones and goals of Fish’N’Bricks can be achieved.
